ACTUAL TEXTILES: Committed to COVID-19 Vaccination
“I get vaccinated, I protect myself and I protect others.”
In this spirit, the company Actual Textiles organized a vaccination campaign on its premises yesterday. This initiative is part of the company’s social and health responsibilities and saw the participation of all employees, families, and civil society leaders from the commune of Ilafy, where the company is located. Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses were administered free of charge to beneficiaries in collaboration with the company’s strategic partners. “This vaccination campaign is conducted exclusively on a voluntary basis. We aim to ensure complete protection for all our employees against this pandemic in order to participate in the economic recovery of the free zones,” according to the company’s managers, Mezbine Hiridjee and Ilann Hiridjee.
Vigilance. Although this vaccination campaign saw massive participation from the targeted individuals, Actual Textiles is already planning to organize a second free operation in the commune of Ilafy in the coming months. Awareness sessions on the risks of Covid-19 transmission and the distribution of health protection materials such as masks and hand sanitizers have regularly taken place within this company and its surroundings to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus and the transmission of Covid-19, particularly in the workplace.
