Textile Madagascar: Ergonomics, Technology, and Workplace Well-being in the Spotlight at ACTUAL TEXTILES

As part of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, ACTUAL TEXTILES—a key player in Madagascar’s textile industry—organized an innovative awareness day on April 28, 2025, in collaboration with OSTIE. The event focused on workplace ergonomics and the integration of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve employee well-being.

A Proactive Approach to Occupational Health
Aware of the challenges related to the prevention of occupational risks, ACTUAL TEXTILES has been actively promoting health and safety in the workplace for several years. For this 2025 edition, the company chose to highlight ergonomics as a key lever for performance and quality of life at work.

A Valuable Collaboration with OSTIE
The intervention of OSTIE’s experts shed light on ergonomic principles tailored to textile workshops. Through hands-on demonstrations, industry-specific advice, and participatory discussions, employees gained valuable insights on how to adjust their workstations, prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), and optimize their daily movements.

AI and Workplace Well-being: A Forward-looking Vision
The awareness campaign also introduced employees to the potential role of artificial intelligence in enhancing workplace well-being. The initiative sparked keen interest and clearly reflected the company’s desire to explore technological innovations in the service of corporate quality of life.

A Lasting Commitment to Madagascar’s Textile Industry
Through this initiative, ACTUAL TEXTILES reinforces its image as an innovative company, committed to the well-being of its employees and true to its core values. It demonstrates that it is possible to combine industrial productivity, risk prevention, and improved working conditions—while promoting Madagascar’s textile sector on the global stage.

Message from Management
“The health and safety of our employees remain at the heart of our priorities. Through this awareness day, we reaffirm our commitment to building a work environment that is healthier, safer, and more humane. The future of Madagascar’s textile industry lies in innovation—but above all, in the respect and well-being of the people who bring it to life.”
