On April 29, 2025, the prestigious World Forum of Women Entrepreneurs was held at the Novotel Hotel in Antananarivo, under the high patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Rasata Rafaravavitafika. This year, Madagascar had the honor of hosting this international event, placed under the theme “Towards a Resilient and Inclusive Economy.” The gathering brought together women leaders from around the world, representing various sectors.
On this occasion, the management of Actual Textiles was invited as a female-led enterprise active in Madagascar’s textile sector to take part in discussions and reflections on key current economic challenges.

A Committed Actor in Textile Madagascar
The presence of Actual Textiles at this Global Forum reflects its strong commitment to an inclusive, sustainable, and competitive Textile Madagascar. Through its initiatives, the company actively supports local economic development and the promotion of talent—especially women—in the textile industry.
Female Leadership and Collective Influence: Drivers of Transformation
The discussions highlighted the importance of women’s leadership and collective influence in building a more resilient economy. These are values increasingly embraced by Textile Madagascar, as demonstrated by Actual Textiles, which places equal opportunity and social innovation at the core of its priorities.

North-South Cooperation: A Strategy for the Future of Textiles
North-South cooperation was also identified as a key strategy for the development of the textile sector. This type of partnership is essential to guide Malagasy textiles toward greater sustainability, competitiveness, and international reach.

A Word from the Management
“Being invited to this Global Forum alongside committed women leaders was an inspiring experience. This recognition strengthens our resolve to build a resilient, fair, and forward-looking Malagasy textile sector. We believe that inclusion, innovation, and cooperation are the foundations of a strong and sustainable economy.”
